As a Performance Specialist, you are responsible for delivering the exceptional care that we strive to provide every client at every visit. What you’ll do:

• Create unique, personal experiences for clients as they progress through their journey to be active for life.
• Establish one-on-one, semi-private, and group exercise programs tailored to client goals, sport specific requirements and client performance level
• Be a leader or participatory member of sports performance in-services, Activcore committees, and special projects that will seek to improve client performance outcomes, community involvement, and center brand awareness
• Continue professional growth as a professional where you will learn best treatment practices, as established by our acclaimed Scientific Advisory Board, be mentored by other skilled and seasoned professionals, and have the opportunity to train utilizing the Redcord suspension system.

What you’ll need:

• Current NSCA, NASM, ACE, PMA, or an equivalent certification
• At least 2 years of experience working in the fitness and/or sports performance field training clients in private, semi-private, and small groups
• Two or more functional movement based assessment courses and/or certifications:  Redcord Active, FMS, TPI or equivalent
• Extensive experience leveraging knowledge of human anatomy, kinesiology, functional movement patterns, and current evidence-based practice
• Proven strong communication and interpersonal skills, including experience working in a team environment and with diverse populations and backgrounds
• Ability to motivate, understand client motivations for long-term exercise adherence (and client relationship with Activcore)
• Demonstrate ability to present self and facility as welcoming, inspiring, and enjoyable place to connect
• Ability to execute a results-driven approach in service that is unparalleled in the fitness and sports performance fields
• Competency utilizing computer and tablet devices
• Must be a TEAM player! Active, friendly, energetic, empathetic, and honest
• Lives a healthy lifestyle; self-motivated; and embraces "The Activcore Way" culture
