Joni Whitlock works at the front desk at Activcore in Atlanta, Georgia, located just 2 miles from Emory University. As a Client Engagement Leader, she helps make the physical therapy and fitness experience even better.
Joni graduated from Agnes Scott College in Decatur with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Entertainment Film and Media. Growing up, she always had a passion for the performing arts. Through dance, Joni developed a strong interest in physical education which led to her joining Activcore. She hopes to learn more about physical well being from the healing environment and professional team at Activcore in Atlanta.
When not at work, Joni enjoys taking dance classes, going bike riding, and watching films.
As someone who has been doing Pilates for 8 years around Atlanta, this place is the real deal AND gems of people to work with. From the front desk staff, Jess, Jessi and Joni… to the Pilates Instructors, Clare, Son Ah, Darlene, Hoon and Mary…. I cannot say enough how much they are all a part of my mental and physical health and well being. I do Redcord and Pilates, one-on-one and semi groups. This place is my sanctuary and keeps me healthy, strong and always bettering myself! Thank you ALLLLL for working with me and always having a smile and helping me leave life at the door!
I love the time I spend at Activcore Druid Hills. The front desk staff are always so welcoming, friendly and helpful. The Pilates instructors are amazing! They are so knowledgeable and have such a huge repertoire of exercises that, no matter what is going on with your body, they can find a way to work with you. I have been so pleased with my Pilates instruction that I have expanded my visits to include physical therapy and Gyrotonics!
